We're working with you to make a positive impact in the Pacific Islands by generating increased global awareness of Pacific affairs in high-education and foreign policy communities.
And it all leads up to one incredible finale …
On Tuesday, the Pacific Islands Society at SOAS will be welcoming Mark Tokola, the Acting Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in London. Mr. Tokola will be the last speaker in the Spring 2013 Pacific Ambassadors Series at SOAS. He will be discussing U.S. engagement in the Pacific and what the “pivot” means to the future of security for the Pacific Islands.
The event will be held May 28th, at 6:30pm in Room 116 of the SOAS Main Building in Russell Square, London. As with past events in the series, Mr. Tokola’s speech will be free and open to the public. However, SOAS is expecting a packed house, so please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org to save yourself a seat!
[The Pacific Islands Society would like to thank the Pacific Islands Society at SOAS team who has made this ambassador series possible!]
